    Yes - Discovery Investigations Inc. will not only listen to your concerns for free at our downtown office, but if the case fits our qualifications and specifications we may take the case for little or no charge.
  • Can a private investigator tell me where and what my teenage kids are doing at night?
    Yes - we have several tools to assist parents or guardians to track and find out where and what activities their children are involved in.
  • Is there a Private Investigator who knows business contracts, fraud, how to find shell corporations, UCC filings, and will actually get it done for me?
    Discovery Investigations, Inc. has investigators on staff that are familiar with contracts that bind together corporations and partnerships.
  • Does Discovery Investigations, Inc have both female and male investigators?
    Yes

    Yes - our office has a convenient downtown location in Rapid City, SD.
  • Can I obtain the police reports of my case?
    Yes - If you have a case number you can request certain reports from police departments. Discovery Investigations can advise how to obtain most reports concerning your case.
  • Can I find out if I have a criminal record?
    Yes - Discovery Investigations can obtain criminal reports.
  • Is it legal to tape record over the phone?
    In some states it is legal to record a two party conversation if you have consent. Each state differs in the type of consent needed.
  • What if my children are in a non-safe environment? What should I do?

    There are laws concerning the proper procedure for installing GPS devices. Discovery Investigations, Inc. complies with these laws.

    Yes - Record keeping with time and dates can be the difference between winning and losing a case.
  • Can I hire an investigator to do confidential/undercover work?
    Yes - Discovery Investigations, Inc. can provide undercover work and obtain evidence that otherwise was unobtainable.
  • Can I gather my own information and find the facts of my case?
    Yes, you can; but be aware that a trained private investigator will document and present unbiased discovery information that will increase your chances for success in court.
  • Can I hire a private investigator if there is a protection order involved?
    No - If there is a protection or restraining order involved between two parties, then a private investigator cannot conduct interview and has to obey the same set of restrictions contained in that order.
  • If my case involves issues that take place on, or involve Native American reservation jurisdictions, what do I do?
